My name is Wayne Halm and Natchitoches Days is my personal blog.

I moved to Natchitoches, Louisiana from Lihue, Hawaii in July of 2018.  I seriously underestimated the work involved in the move … but the work is done now (December 2018) and it’s time I started blogging again.

The move has been a good one, Natchitoches is a charming little town.  The posts here are descriptions of my experiences living in the town.

I do try to see the humorous side of things … there is most always one.  I hope that attitude comes through in my posts.  My intention is to post once or twice a week and announce the posts on Facebook.

While I will include links to sites selling stuff, I am not particularly trying to sell it.  I am trying to relate my experiences with the places and events in and around Natchitoches.  I hope you enjoy the posts … let me know how I do.
