Celebrations are common in Natchitoches. We use almost any event as an excuse to have fun. I like that, it is my kind of town. And yes, Halloween is celebrated.
Admittedly I don’t have a deep understanding of Halloween, but that isn’t necessary to enjoy it. All that is required is an invitation to Julia Coleman-Kiefer’s Halloween party … fortunately I had one of those.
But Julia wasn’t the only witch present … the whole coven was at the party.
Great company, great food, and a Front Street balcony … this was a fun evening. The only thing missing was Sally.
